Interior design · East London

Interiors that feel as good as they look.

Thoughtful interior design for real homes, centred around the way you live.

Beautiful homes don't have to start from scratch. Most of the time they begin with what's already in the room, and a few honest decisions about the rest.

The TISK approach

Why TISK

Design that respects your home, your life and your budget.

Plenty of designers begin by emptying the room. We begin by understanding it. What's worth keeping, what's worth investing in, and what simply needs moving three feet to the left.

  • We start with what you own

Before anything is bought, we look at what's already in the room. Often the answer is a different layout, not a different sofa.

  • Spending, thought through

We'll tell you which pieces are worth the money and which can be found for far less without anyone noticing the difference.

  • Timeless over trendy

Rooms designed to still feel right in ten years, made of materials that age well rather than date quickly.

  • Designed around real life

Toddlers, dogs, bikes in the hallway, working from the dining table. We design for the home you actually live in.

  • Guidance, not judgement

No taste tests, no lectures. Just clear advice from someone who does this every day, in language that makes sense.

Ways we can help

Three ways in, depending on how much help you'd like.

Some people need an hour and an honest opinion. Others want a whole room resolved. Both are welcome, and neither requires a big budget to begin.

Service

Design Consultation

An honest second opinion, before you spend anything.

Ninety minutes in your home, or on a call, spent working through what's bothering you about the room. You'll leave knowing what to change, what to keep and what to do first.

Furniture & Styling

Fall back in love with the home you already own.

We start with what's already in the room. Most homes are one or two decisions away from feeling right, and rarely does that mean starting again.

Our process

A calm, clear way of working.

No mystery, no jargon, no design language you need translating. You'll always know what's happening next.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn how you actually use the room, and take stock of what's already worth keeping.

  2. 02

    Design

Layout, light and colour come first. Shopping comes last, and only where it earns its place.

  3. 03

    Refine

We present the design, talk it through honestly and adjust until it feels like your home.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Sourcing, ordering and styling, until the room is finished and quietly ready to live in.

Investment

Prices, before you have to ask for them.

We think you should know roughly what something costs before you pick up the phone. Consultations start at £225, styling at £495 and a full room design at £895, with everything quoted clearly before any work begins.

In their words

What clients say afterwards.

We'd assumed we'd have to replace the sofa and start again. We kept it, moved it, changed the lighting, and the room is unrecognisable. It cost a fraction of what we'd braced ourselves for.

I was nervous about being told my taste was wrong. Instead I was asked how we actually use the room, with a toddler and no time. The design fits our life rather than a photograph.

The honesty is the thing. Being told where not to spend was worth the fee on its own, and the two pieces we did invest in were exactly right.
